Region 16 - Convention 2012 (Wed, April 25)

It's all about traditions!! One of the new ones is blogging on behalf of Canadian Showtime Chorus whenever we have a Big Event!! This tradition started when CSC hit the biggest stage of all in May 2011 - THE CARNEGIE HALL STAGE!!

So for those traditions! Our all rehearsal is all about us - our director talking us through the entire experience - our newbies eyes as round as saucers - we seasoned members giddy with anticipation! Today our director and assistant director (sometimes their whole quartet) do the spa thing and slowly make their way to Syracuse. I go early to take care of Convention duties and I am lucky to have Nicky and Belinda keep me company for the ride up. Favorite pins are packed - the red and white is washed and pressed and Annie gives us our good luck charms!! We are ready and anxious to hit that stage!

And of course - there is shopping! It starts at the border for us! The Canadian Duty free await our arrival each year - stock new music note items and even have a gift basket draw just for us! Then it's every shoe store and department store in between.

Safe travels Region 16. The judging panel is in for SUCH a treat! Can't wait to see you all!
